We appreciate your patience this month as the leadership team have all had family medical issues affecting their time. We hope you can join us this Saturday for a Help Desk session. Our presentation will be a review of the new released WordPress 5.5.

The reason for holding a Help Desk this month is due to a number of recent challenges people have been reporting with new versions of some WordPress themes and plugins, which we expect some of you may also have been experiencing. We can work on any issues with WordPress websites during this Help Desk.

We are also continuing with Virtual meetup this month. We will assess month-to-month and let you know when we are really ready for in-person. Any input you might have about this is appreciated!

How to do virtual? That's a great question. We want to make the experience as useful and dynamic as possible. So, we will use Zoom as our online meeting platform, conducting our presentation and give folks a chance to talk about how life is going indoors, then we can (if it makes sense) leverage the feature of Zoom that allows us to create breakout rooms so that we can have folks get together 1-on-1 (or 2-on-1, or whatever works) to work on issues just like we do in person.

We strongly suggest you install the Zoom app on your device (whether a mobile device or laptop/desktop computer) and test it out ahead of time so you are sure the audio and video components are working.
