Java Webdriver STG Certification
April 29, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm CDT

VIRTUAL ONLINE EVENT
Description:
Come join us as Bill Witt helps us with our Java Webdriver STG Certification. This certification is meant to introduce you to Java and Selenium for testing (UI & API) and automation. This will be a continuation of last week’s session. If you need help getting caught up please reach out in slack under the #autobots channel. More information listed below.
Goals:
– Each challenge will introduce different concepts.
– Complete each challenge and push your code to GitHub so the instructor(s) can validate.
– Completing all challenges will get you this certification!
– The student is familiar enough with Java, Webdriver, Selenium, testNG, and Maven that they can begin automating tests and solving problems.
To get started and follow along, make sure to set up your machine. You can do this by following the instructions provided by Matt Chiang at http://bitly.com/STGjavawebdriver

Q: Does the class or certification cost anything?
Nope! It’s completely free so bring your questions and take advantage 🙂
Q: Is this just for programmers? How much experience do I need to have?
This is for everyone of all skill levels. If you are brand new to Java, Python, Node, and/or coding, I would recommend you start with an introductory course (free) just so you can see if it’s something you’re really interested in. There are many courses on Test Automation University and is a great place to start:

We are all learning together, so don’t feel bad for asking questions. That’s what this is all about! We want to help you and make sure you feel welcome and have an enjoyable journey into programming and test automation.
