Have you ever struggled promoting database objects between environments? Almost everyone has been involved in a production deployment where you finish all the migration steps and you're wrapping up your final smoke testing only to get an error about a missing database object or column change that you forgot to document and deploy. In this presentation we'll discuss ways to overcome these common challenges. We’ll walk through tracking your database model in source control systems, and leveraging DACPAC artifacts in your Azure DevOps pipelines to automate the promotion of database objects.
