Configuration Management in Azure @ Source Allies

Infrastructure as code is a well known and widely adopted practice for creating, configuring, and maintaining Azure resources. Tools like Bicep and Terraform are great for managing serverless resources, but these tools don’t provide a scalable solution for managing the operating system of IaaS VMs. In this presentation we will discuss how using configuration management tools (such as Ansible) can automate and simplify server management in Azure.What will be covered:

**Speaker bio:**
Mike Sorensen is a consultant at Source Allies. Working in the DevOps space for over 10 years; Mike has experience in teaching and implementing practices that enable organizations to operate effectively in the cloud, architecting scalable and resilient cloud-based solutions, and has led successful migration efforts to Azure and AWS. Mike is currently working on an AWS migration and modernization effort for a local partner.
