Azure Container Apps: Container Hosting without the orchestration complexity!

January 10 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm CST

Containerizing applications offers developers big advantages (Portability, Efficiency, Agility,
Faster delivery, etc.), and has become the defacto approach for building Cloud Native applications. Coupled with a Container Host, developers can deploy containerized apps without managing complex infrastructure. Azure Container Apps (ACA) leverages cloud infrastructure, and it enables you to build applications in your favorite language with any dependencies and tools, package them as a container image, and deploy them in seconds. ACA is a fully managed serverless container service on Azure, built on top of Azure Kubernetes Service. It allows you to run microservices and containerized applications without worrying about orchestration or managing the Kubernetes complex infrastructure. The deep integration with KEDA (event-driven auto scaling for Kubernetes), Dapr (distributed application runtime) and Envoy (a service proxy designed for cloud-native applications) make ACA extremely versatile. Come get an introduction to ACA, leave with a good understanding of what it is, what it is not, and how it can help you in your projects.
