Application Gateway vs. Traffic Manager vs. Front Door

Microsoft's Azure cloud is an excellent place to build web applications. An important part of building applications is ensuring the integrity and availability of these applications. Azure provides a number of ways to secure and manage admittance to your application. The entry points include Traffic Managers, Load Balancers, App Gateways, Azure Front Door, and more. In this talk, Tony will describe these and when to use each.

Speaker: Tony is an experienced cloud architect and developer with a long history of designing and building quality software systems. He has provided architectural leadership at all levels including application architecture, data architecture, technical architecture, and solution architecture. He has guided the development of standards and best practices for the team. His team adopted new technologies and design patterns. He optimized various solutions by introducing led Service Oriented Architecture, consistent data models, and practices. He has worked closely with the business to build high-quality solutions for customers.

Tony is currently working with a client on their cloud cost management team.
